For level 2 classes, students should have a basic understanding of wheel throwing (wedging, centering, throwing a cylinder, trimming) If you have questions about whether you are eligible, please email us at alleycatceramics@gmail.com
In this 6 week class, students will have the opportunity to explore wheel throwing techniques such as throwing and centering 2-3 lbs of clay, closed forms, jars, large bowls/ platters, 2-part pedestal bowls, and throwing off the hump.
A basic tool kit, 25# of clay, glazes and firings are included in the class fee. Students also have access to our open studio hours for the duration of the class.
