

May 10- June 28 10am-12pm 8 week hybrid wheel and handbuilding class
This 6 week beginners wheelthrowing and handbuilding class is a more in depth look into throwing on a potters wheel and combining with handbuilt techniques and alterations. In this course, students will learn how to center clay and pull walls, trim and handle pots, learn about slabs, pinch pots, and coil techniques, as well as multiple surface design techniques, and vocabulary relating to the ceramic process. Students will receive 50# of clay included with the class fees, all firings, and a handful of glazes are included.
Students will also have access to open studio hours for the duration of their class to continue practicing outside of class time.
